The eyes is a very appealing feature of the face and make on that area is usually easily wrongly applied. There are so many eye enhancement products, e.g eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, eye brow pencil etc. And their applicators,the brushes.
Usually,ladies use their fingers to apply eyeshadow which at the end of the day won’t obviously blend in as expected.
Here are some simple tips on how to have a sexy, glowing, speaking and smokey eyes.
The Eye lid: An eyelid is a thin fold of skin that covers and protects an eye. The human eyelid features a row of eyelashes. This thin fold of skin has some particular colours that are meant to be applied on just that area, colours like :peach,gold,silver,pink,purple, etc. The eyeshadow shouldn’t exceed the eyelid and should be applied with an eyelid brush.
The contour/crease: One of the fundamentals of applying makeup is putting that contour shade in the crease. Everyone just assumes we know how to do it! These tips make it fool-proof.
To find your crease, close your eye and press on it gently. The crease is the indent that hugs the top half of your eyeball.
Always apply your contour shade in the crease with your eye open. If you close your eye to apply your contour shadow, it will disappear into the crease when you open your eye.
Use ideal eye contour brush to apply concentrated colour in the bridge of the eye, follow the natural contour of the eye and blend up and out. You may wish to bring the colour onto the outer corner of the eyelid a bit too, creating a sideways “V.” Some wonderful makeup brushes to try include the Eye Shader Brush and Crease Brush for a softer look; or the Eye Contour Brush for more drama.
The upper eye lid: usually, the eyeliner, eye pencil etc are used to make a line on the upper lid just to boost and bring out the boldness of the eyes.
The lower eye lid: this is the lower area also with a row of lashes. Eye pencils are usually applied to darken the area to give the eyes a more attractive look.
The eyelashes: The lashes perform the same function as whiskers on a cat in the sense that they are sensitive to being touched. The mascara is a tool to used to straighten, curl, volumize, thicken and colour the lashes. Mascara comes in mostly black,blue and transparent colours.
The eye brow bone: This is the bony area just on and below the eyebrow. To highlight this area, peach, silver, gold, matt nude brown, matt white are the specific colours. Fill the brow in with an eye shadow powder and eyebrow brush. Apply with a small, hard brush that’s flat and angled at the tip.
The eye brow: Brows can make your eyes look larger and more expressive. Apply the brow pencil on the brow. Finish by combing the brows with a toothbrush. If too much color is applied, soften by toning down the pencil colour with a eyebrow brush. Although individual brow shapes differ, you should always tweeze from below the brow to create the angled shape. Never shave your eyebrow completely, always leave some hair, never colour your brows with red,black or wine pencils. Brown or dark brown depending on your skin tone are the essential shades for the eye brow.
